Greetings to all Sandrock families and students,

Sandrock Elementary is a great school full of learning, fun and celebrations! I am proud of the hard work, dedication, perseverance and engagement of students, teachers and all staff!

We continue to elevate the Big 3 rules with students:

As a staff, we are refining our behavioral and discipline practices within our school. As principal, I believe in using Restorative Practices with students and staff. This is a philosophical practice that continues to build a strong community where students and staff feel safe, heard, valued and live out the Big 3. Using a balanced approach to discipline, students may have community service to learn that hands are for helping, not hurting. Or, together with all students involved, we sit down to hear each other's perspectives and create a plan to get along when a conflict arises on the playground or in the classroom.

Our Community Closet needs more clothes, shoes, undergarments, and outdoor gear. Please consider donating clean, gently used children's clothing that we can offer students and families in need.

Watch D.O.G.s - we need you! Any father figure, dad, grandpa, uncle, big brother, cousin of a student here at Sandrock is welcome to join our cadre of D.O.G.s (Dads of Great Students) as a volunteer to help out in school. Even an hour or two makes a difference!

We are looking forward to the last quarter of learning and fun here at Sandrock Elementary. It's a great day to be a Bulldog at Sandrock!
